touch of loft wax 002 see�s label head nathaniel garry step out on the a-side with a club ready deep house dj tool. jacking percussion lays a solid groove as electric piano chords and deep pads set the mood, topped off with chopped up vocal samples to get the crowd pumping. london�s timothy clerkin serves up an ebm rave for his remix on the b-side, with a thumping kick drum and arpeggiator bassline sitting under twisted and warped vocals from the original. grab it. pop it in your dj bag. with the a-side for the warm up and the b-side for the peak time slot.

increasingly known for his productions as much as his storied dj sets, eric cloutier approaches the studio with the same kind of precision that marks out his club and festival appearances. on this first release on palinoia he exercises a keen sense of control over playful elements, not least on lead track �heuristic�. the nagging lead synth may hop around the mix, but it stays locked on to a thoroughly focused undercarriage of drums and low end that suits the professional techno set. �ipseity� is lighter in its demeanor thanks to some calming pad tones, but the strong structure of the track remains. the release rounds up with the slower thump of �opprobrium�, surmising cloutier�s attitude to the warm-up part of a serious, long-lasting dj set.

mop mop is the brainchild of andrea benini, musician, producer, dj who has been active for more than ten years exploring a large variety of musical genres, from club to jazz music. �kiss of kali� is the name of his second album - originally released in 2008 only on cd, now available on vinyl for the first time.

part 5 of 5 to be released over the coming couple of months. originally released on the phono label in 1995/96 the �parts� series from matthew herbert are a much loved collection of house tracks that sound just as original and bold today as they did when they were first released. this series of 12�s were part of an early wave of exploratory dance music that paved the way for the deep house that still works its magic on dance-floors in 2018 some 25 years later. the mix of herbert�s playfulness alongside expertly grooving production and unusual sounds makes this unique collection of work. the odd few tracks aside this is the first time that these releases have ever been repressed. all newly remastered for this reissue series, the releases include stone cold club classics such as �deeper�, �take me back�, �resident�, �people that make the music� and �see you on monday�.

as always, the return of ruede hagelstein is inevitable and with each return he ups the ante tenfold showcasing his ever growing prowess behind the studio door. it seems as if, with each ruede ep, the amount of elements utilized shrinks while at the same time the sound grows in power and dominance and that could not be better exemplified than here. consisting of two originals and a remix from the one and only martin buttrich, the ep is a gross display of well thought out, mature dance floor jewels. opening the short player is hagelsteins �dematerialize feat. justin evans where a sinister yet soothing vocal sets the tone for the entire track, laying the groundwork for a gorgeous bass drum and shimmers of distant percussion carry us into celestial spaces. �forward vision is up next and follows suit by relying on a brooding minimal groove to drive the shimmers of glistening atmospherics and sparkling sonics optimal for dizzy and delirious club moments. last but certainly not least we turn to the legend who is martin buttrich to twist the original �dematerialize feat. justin evan into a more straightforward composition with his signature stylings opening the doors of accessibility to a wider demographic of disc jockeys resulting in a track that stretches the playability to a wide range of disc jockeys

with its lush live string and horn section, can�t stop loving you when originally released in 1990 was an immediate favorite in the uk, and represented famed house producer marshall jefferson�s movement toward utilizing live instrumentation in his productions. the track was released right around the time the kiss fm london launched as a legal radio station, and richard was support talent at the radio station launch party in hyde park london that was headlined by fellow chicagoans ten city.
the track also represented one of the last releases on the relaunched sam records imprint, before michael weiss ceased releasing new titles on sam and started nervous records.
